Mitch Ortwein

Mitch Ortwein currently serves as Senior Director at TISTA Science and Technology Corporation, overseeing a portfolio of three CMS programs with a total contract value exceeding $250 million and a yearly P&L responsibility exceeding $45 million, while managing a team of over 100 staff. Previously, at Octo Consulting Group, Mitch held the position of Director, leading a $36 million Navy contract for next-generation IT procurement services. At Acentia, Mitch provided program leadership for healthcare clients, managing a $9 million contract with CMS. Early career experience includes roles at Dovel Technologies as Deputy PM/Technical Architect managing a $3.5 million FDA project, and at Event Driven as Technical Architect with responsibilities in personnel and finance management. Mitch holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Sciences from the University of Maryland, in addition to certifications as a SAFe Practitioner, PMP, and CSM.
