Jaan Soon Tan

Jaan Soon Tan is an experienced professional with a strong background in operations and research, currently serving as the General Manager Operations at Taiko Marketing Sdn. Bhd. since August 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Plant Manager at Yara International from 2014 to June 2021, where responsibilities encompassed managing a calcium nitrate liquid plant, enhancing productivity, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, overseeing plant expansion projects, and driving revenue growth. Additionally, Jaan held the position of Senior Manager - R&D/Plant at Jadi Imaging Technologies Sdn Bhd from 2005 to 2014, directing various R&D divisions focused on toner formulation development for printing applications. Jaan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
