Kristi Kopanis

Kristi Kopanis is an experienced communications strategist currently working at Toledo Lucas County Public Library since April 2022, specializing in media relations and social media. Prior to this role, Kristi served as a sports reporter and anchor at WTOL 11 from December 2017 to April 2022, and as a sports reporter at WCTV from October 2016 to November 2017. Kristi's career at WTOL 11 also included positions as a leading edge producer and photographer from November 2013 to September 2016. Kristi began their professional journey as an athletic media assistant while studying broadcast journalism and sports management at Bowling Green State University, where Kristi completed an undergraduate degree in May 2014.
