Ruby Osman

Ruby Osman is a Senior Geopolitical Researcher and China Lead at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, responsible for leading the organization's China-focused geopolitical research and publishing significant works on various topics, including China's zero-Covid strategy and vaccine absorption in Africa. Ruby co-founded the Oxford University Silk Road Society Think Tank, directing initiatives on sustainability within the Belt and Road Initiative while successfully coordinating a team of over 50 analysts. Previous roles include translating key government documents for the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau and interning with organizations such as China Policy and Endemol Shine Group. Ruby holds a Bachelor's degree in Chinese (Oriental Studies) from the University of Oxford, complemented by an educational stint at Peking University.
