Anish Tailor

Anish Tailor is an experienced urban planner currently working at Toole Design Group since August 2022. Prior roles include project consultant at UIC Great Cities Institute, where Anish developed demographic maps and interactive online resources, and transportation planner at Sam Schwartz, focusing on transit-oriented development projects. Earlier experience includes positions as a transportation planning intern at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and graduate research assistant at the Urban Transportation Center at UIC. Anish also has a robust background in economic research, having held research analyst roles at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and the International Monetary Fund. Anish holds a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Master of Arts in International Trade & Investment Policy from The George Washington University, and dual bachelor's degrees in Finance and International Studies from Southern Methodist University.
