Marina Cavalcanti

Marina Cavalcanti is an experienced associate producer and production coordinator at Toonstar since July 2021, also serving as an education mentor for the Brazilian Student Association since May 2021. With a strong background in translation services at Deluxe Media since November 2016, Marina has worked on over 50 TV shows, movies, and documentaries for notable companies including Fox, Disney, and Warner Bros. Previous roles include film festival coordinator for The Shenandoah Film Collaborative, associate to producer/production assistant at BDP Entertainment Group, marketing and project management intern at Luminous Blue Limited, and logistics coordinator intern for the Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival. Marina holds a Master of Entertainment Industry Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's in Cultural Production from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro. Additional qualifications include courses in audiovisual translation and English translation specialization.
