Jim Hinson

Jim Hinson has extensive experience in business development and technical support, currently serving as Senior Director of OEM Business Development and Professional Services at Topcon Positioning Systems since May 2002. Previous roles at Topcon include Director of Professional Services for AA Applications and Training, where Jim oversaw a global technical support team and product testing initiatives, as well as Senior Manager of Global Technical Support, responsible for implementing a 24/7 support system. Jim's career began as President of Laserman Total Positioning, Inc., a distributor for Topcon, and earlier served in the United States Navy as a Gas Turbine Technician. Educational qualifications include certifications in Mechanical Technologies from ITT Technical Institute and the United States Navy.
