Sayed Suhail Gaffar

Sayed Suhail Gaffar has over 25 years of experience in various roles within the digital and ecommerce industry. Sayed Suhail started their career at EMCAN Trading LLC as a Software Engineer in 1995. In 1997, they joined DHL Express and held multiple positions including IT Technical Services Manager, Customer IS Integration Manager, Regional Manager for Retail and eCommerce, and Head of eCommerce for Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets. In 2013, Sayed Suhail ventured into independent consulting and founded Sayed Suhail Consulting, where they provided strategic guidance in the digital and information technology field. Sayed Suhail then joined Mothercare in 2014 as the Head of International eCommerce and later moved to Velcro Companies in 2018 to serve as the Digital and eCommerce Director. Currently, Sayed Suhail is working at The Topps Company as the Vice President of Global Ecommerce.

Sayed Suhail Gaffar completed an MBA in New venture creation, Strategy Development, and SME Management at the University of Strathclyde from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they earned a B. Tech in Software Engineering from The University of British Columbia between 1998 and 2000. Sayed Suhail also has certifications in E-Commerce Pricing from Prisync, obtained in November 2018, and is a PRINCE2 Certified Practitioner.
