About the Role
We are looking for a speedy, data-driven and detail oriented Sales and Revenue Operations Manager to own the sales velocity, processes, and databases to help scale the sales team as we continue our journey of scaling. You’ll be part of the sales team, own the sales metrics, reporting to and work closely with the leadership, finance, product and operations team who will be responsible for driving growth across Topsort’s revenue-generating teams. Working closely with various internal departments, you will be responsible for the execution of revenue strategies.
- You’re the guardian of everything sales related, including numbers, processes and owner efficiency to ensure sales teams hit quota and exceed targets
- You will work with individual sales reps and sales leads to have both the granular data-driven view of each deal and pipeline dynamics, as well as overall sales velocity and market knowledge.
- Be a wiz of CRMs and sales tools - from Hubspot to Chili Piper, you know the ins and outs of a full sales stack and what it takes to scale in the context of a high velocity startup.
- Maintain up to date sales knowledge bases, RFPs, timelines and keeping sales teams on track throughout the quarters regarding logistics of sales activities, such as trade shows, industry events, and legal redlines.
- Facilitate Sales Training, Kickoff, Retro and ceremonies to ensure sales frameworks are implemented consistently across the teams. Use Retool, BI tools, and and spreadsheets to analyze and make data driven decisions and generate actionable insights to ensure Topsort stays ahead of competitors in the retail media industry
- Prepare tailored content for Topsort’s clients and the retail media industry while leveraging standardized templates to maintain efficiency.
- Work closely with leadership to develop scalable and repeatable processes to ensure seamless operational guidelines across multiple departments at Topsort.
Requirements
- B.A or B.S. or MBA in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering related fields, STEM is a big plus.
- 5 years minimum experience in a sales operations manager or RevOps rolePrefer entrepreneurial team player, and bonus points if you have worked in fast paced startup and enterprise software sales from 10s of millions ARR to into the hundredths
- Self-starter, highly organized, disciplined, and ability to think very rapidly
- You’ll be working with a global team, so experience with international markets, speaking multiple languages, or working and studying abroad is relevant.
- Proficiency using CRM software (eg Salesforce or HubSpot) and analytical software (SQL and spreadsheets), Ability to use visualization dashboards (eg Tableau) to create graphs and actionable reports This is a hybrid role that’s 4 days onsite in our Somerville office.
