Michael Raftis

Michael Raftis is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Detective Constable with the Toronto Police Service since October 2020. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Police Constable and gained valuable experience in various positions including Military Police with the Canadian Armed Forces from March 2017 to September 2020, and as a Collision Reporting Centre officer and Auxiliary Officer (Sgt) with the Ontario Provincial Police from March 2013 to March 2017. Additional roles include serving as a Provincial Park Warden for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and providing support with Barrie VCARS. Michael completed a Bachelor of Arts in Police Studies at Georgian College and has obtained certifications in crisis intervention and handling aggressive individuals.
