Maryam Almasi

Maryam Almasi is a designer specializing in knitwear and ready-to-wear fashion, currently appointed as a Designer for Tory Sport Knitwear & RTW at TORY BURCH since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Knitwear Designer and Assistant Knitwear Designer at ALTUZARRA from June 2020 to December 2024, along with various positions such as Freelance Design Assistant and Knitwear and RTW Design Intern. Additional experiences encompass freelance and intern roles at Cole Haan, Veronica Beard, Adam Lippes, Cami NYC, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Dennis Basso, and MGF Sourcing. Before entering the fashion industry, Maryam worked as a General Practitioner with a cardiac rehabilitation team at PARS HOSPITAL. Maryam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Maryam is also certified in the history of art from Genesee Community College.
