Daliana Coban

Daliana Coban is a legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory law and compliance, particularly within the energy sector. Currently serving as Counsel at Torys LLP since October 2024, Daliana provides expert advice to clients regarding regulatory matters. Prior to this role, Daliana held various positions at Toronto Hydro from May 2013 to October 2024, including Director of Regulatory Applications & Business Support and Lead Regulatory Counsel. Daliana's prior experience includes serving as Associate Counsel and Articling Student at Ontario Power Generation from July 2011 to May 2013. Academically, Daliana holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with High Distinction in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Toronto at Mississauga, and a Postgraduate Diploma in International and European Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
