Zehra Sheerazi

Zehra Sheerazi is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and securities law, primarily focusing on private equity and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as a Partner at Torys LLP since September 2012, Zehra has played a critical role in advising private equity clients, public and private companies, financial institutions, and pension funds. Prior to this, Zehra gained valuable experience as a Corporate Associate and Senior Associate at Goodmans LLP, where responsibilities included corporate legal matters. Zehra holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School and has participated in international exchange programs at the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
