Mayela Rivero

Mayela Rivero is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Deep Offshore R&D Program Manager and Integrated Asset Support Team Manager at TotalEnergies since August 2021. With extensive experience at TOTAL E&P USA as the Deep Offshore Technologies Manager since July 2015, Mayela coordinates R&D programs focused on Deep Offshore Technologies, engages in technology partnerships, and manages various R&D projects. Additionally, Mayela has led an oil shale R&D project at TOTAL S.A. and conducted oil field development studies in the Middle East. With a robust background at CSIRO as the Oil and Gas Theme Leader and experience in business development at Vetra Group, Mayela holds a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from ENSEEIHT and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (VE).
