Michal Legiewicz

Michal Legiewicz is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in molecular architecture and DNA technologies. Currently serving as Head of Molecular Architecture and Senior Research Scientist at Touchlight since September 2016, Michal focuses on innovative DNA molecules for therapeutic applications and new platform development. Previous roles include Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, emphasizing molecular evolution and engineering technologies, and Research Scientist positions at Yale University and the National Cancer Institute, where studies on RNA structures, cancer-related biomolecules, and automated DNA synthesis were conducted. Michal's academic foundation includes a Master's degree in biotechnology from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu and a PhD in chemistry with a specialization in biochemistry from the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences.
