David McGraw Schuchman

David McGraw Schuchman, MSW, LICSW (Emeritus Inactive) is an experienced mental health professional with a focus on immigrant and refugee behavioral health, particularly within Somali and East African communities. Schuchman has served in various capacities, including a Board Member at Touchstone Mental Health since September 2016 and as a Facilitator for the Immigrant and Refugee Mental Health Network Listserv from March 2012 to October 2023. Noteworthy prior roles include consulting at the Associated Clinic of Psychology, providing training and supervision in immigrant and refugee behavioral health, and teaching courses on clinical practice with immigrants and refugees at both St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas. Schuchman holds a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Grand Valley State University.
