John Lawson

John Lawson is a seasoned landman with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Landman at Tourmaline Oil Corp since September 2022, John has previously held prominent positions including Vice President of Land at Rising Star Energy Ltd. and Beringer Energy Inc., and Land Manager at Fairborne Energy Ltd. With a solid foundation as an Acquisitions Landman at EnCana Corporation and a Landman at Anderson Exploration, John has developed a comprehensive skill set in land management throughout a career that began after graduating with a B. Comm in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Calgary in 1999.
