Kale Craver

Kale Craver has served in various capacities with the Town of Blacksburg since February 2011, currently holding the position of Public Information Officer, facilitating communication between the Police Department and the public. Craver has extensive experience in training and community outreach, having overseen the Training/Community Outreach Unit and supervised departmental training, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and mandates. Previous roles include Investigations Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, and Narcotics/Street Crimes Officer, where responsibilities encompassed supervising investigative teams, planning patrol operations, and conducting narcotics-focused investigations. Craver started a law enforcement career as a Police Officer in the City of Roanoke, VA, from March 2006 to February 2011. Educational qualifications include a High School Diploma from Gilbert High School and a Bachelor's degree in Global History from American Military University.
