Maggie Peard

Sustainability & Resilience Officer at Town of Lexington

Maggie Peard is an experienced sustainability and resilience professional currently serving as the Sustainability & Resilience Officer for the Town of Lexington since February 2022. Previously, Maggie worked as a Sustainability Planner at KLA (Kim Lundgren Associates) from February 2019 to February 2022 and held the position of UNH Sustainability Fellow at the UNH Sustainability Institute in the summer of 2021. During this fellowship, Maggie contributed to a significant coastal resilience planning project in collaboration with the Southern Maine Planning & Development Commission. Earlier experiences include roles as a Web Editor at Overland Summers, a Teacher with Teach For America, a Teaching Assistant at Horizons National, and an Intern with the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication. Maggie Peard holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy from Williams College.
