David Broll

David Broll is currently a firefighter for the Town of Oakville since January 2022. Prior to this role, Broll had an extensive career as a professional hockey player, participating in various leagues including the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL). Broll played for teams such as the Coventry Blaze, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Indy Fuel Hockey Club, Providence Bruins, Rocket de Laval, St. John's IceCaps, and the Syracuse Crunch, where notable achievements include playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning and being drafted #152 overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft while with the Toronto Marlies. Broll holds a Master of Sciences degree in Sports Management from Coventry University and completed pre-service firefighter training in 2017.
