Justin Thompson

Justin Thompson has an extensive career in fire and emergency services, currently serving as the Fire Official for the Township of Montclair since 2008. Thompson has held various roles including Fire Lieutenant and Firefighter with the Montclair Firefighter's Mutual Benevolent Association from 2020 to 2021, and served as Vice President of FMBA Local 20 from 2014 to 2020. Additional experience includes a Union Trustee position with the Montclair Ambulance Unit and work as an Emergency Medical Technician for the City of Hampton. Thompson's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration focused on Finance from NYU, a Master's degree in Behavioral and Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University.
