Kushal Arora

Kushal Arora is a Research Scientist at the Toyota Research Institute since June 2023, with prior experience as a Research Intern at Meta and Microsoft, where advancements in language modeling and user interface approaches were developed. Kushal also contributed to quantifying error accumulation in language generation during an internship at Borealis AI, resulting in work accepted at ACL 2022. Past roles include software engineering positions at Amazon, where skills in deep learning and fraud detection were honed, and as the first employee at Chatimity, responsible for developing the complete technology stack. Kushal holds a PhD in Computer Science from McGill University, a Master’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
