Ryusuke Shimizu

Ryusuke Shimizu is an experienced Cockpit Design Engineer at トヨタ自動車株式会社 since October 2024, previously serving as UX Product Lead, UX Researcher, and Strategist at Woven Planet from October 2022 to October 2024. In the latter role, Shimizu led a diverse team of international members in developing UX strategies for next-generation advanced driver-assistance systems (AD/ADAS). Prior to that, Shimizu was a Team Leader and Software Engineer for AD&ADAS at トヨタ自動車株式会社 from April 2018 to September 2022, overseeing the development of an automated washing sensor system and managing project specifications and evaluations. Shimizu began a career as a Tutor at （株）河合塾マナビス from April 2014 to March 2018, assisting high school students in university admissions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electric and Electrical Engineering from Chiba University, with additional studies at the University of Debrecen and The University of Alabama.
