Maya Chorengel

Maya Chorengel is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Co-Managing Partner and Senior Partner at TPG's The Rise Fund since February 2017. Prior to TPG, Maya co-founded and held the position of Managing Director at Elevar Equity from February 2008 to February 2017, and served as President/Managing Director at The Dignity Fund from December 2004 to February 2008. Maya's earlier career includes roles as Vice President at Warburg Pincus between August 1997 and December 2002, and as an Associate at Morgan Stanley for a brief period in 1996, following an analyst position at James D. Wolfensohn, Inc. from August 1993 to July 1995. Maya holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University.
