Christy Rutherford

Christy Rutherford currently serves as the Director and Head of Academics at TPH Academy since July 2024. Prior to this role, Christy held the position of Education Manager at DECA Inc. from February 2022 to July 2024, where responsibilities included the development and evaluation of educational programs for high school and college divisions. Christy's experienced background includes roles such as CTE Curriculum Executive at iCEV, Listing Transaction Manager at Matt Gorham Real Estate Team, and Business Education Teacher at West Chester Area School District. Additional roles include Assistant Director at Cass Career Center and Career Education Facilitator at Lee's Summit R-7 School District, along with extensive teaching positions in business and marketing at various high schools. Christy holds a Master of Education in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from the University of Central Missouri and is currently pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Human Services – Technology & Occupational Education at the same institution.
