Brandon Stewart, P.Eng, possesses extensive experience in the mining industry, currently holding the position of Mining Manager at TransAlta since November 2014, where previous roles included Manager of Engineering & Maintenance and Operational Engineering Supervisor. Brandon has supervised operational engineering initiatives and teams of 35-40 employees as an Operations Supervisor, ensuring safe and cost-effective coal delivery. Prior experience includes roles as a Mining Engineer at Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd and various co-op positions at Prairie Mines & Royalty, Teck Resources Limited, and Suncor Energy. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Alberta, completed in 2012, following studies at The University of Lethbridge.
