Zack Thompson

Zack Thompson is an experienced quality management professional currently serving as the Director of Quality at Transcat since October 2024, following a tenure in similar leadership roles at SIMCO Electronics from November 2017 to October 2024, where Zack held positions such as Corporate Quality Manager and Quality System Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Tektronix as a Metrologist and at the United States Army Test and Evaluation Command as a Precision Equipment Calibrator. Zack has a strong background in calibration and quality assurance, having managed calibration labs and maintained high readiness rates in previous positions, including at Bell Helicopter. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Factors and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, supplemented by a minor in Safety and ongoing education in Lean Six Sigma.
