Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith is a Principal Engineer at Transgrid since December 2024, focusing on strategy and major projects. Prior to this role, Joshua spent over 22 years at ElectraNet Pty Ltd, where Joshua served as System Integration Lead, managing technical interfaces and stakeholder relationships among ElectraNet, Transgrid, and AEMO. Joshua's career also includes various engineering roles, including Senior Network Capability Engineer, Senior Network Strategy Engineer, Regulatory Reset Consultant, Network Strategy Engineer, Network Planning Engineer, and Graduate Engineer. Joshua holds a degree in Electrical and Mechatronic Engineering from the University of South Australia and completed management training at the AIM Austrian Institute of Management in 2013.
