Thomas Kouroughli

Thomas Kouroughli is an experienced energy systems professional currently serving as Energy Systems Modeller Lead at TransitionZero since March 2023. Prior roles include Project Manager, Policy Officer, and Project Assistant at Agora Energiewende, where significant contributions were made to European and international energy policy from February 2018 to March 2023. As CEO of Green Phoenix from July 2015 to September 2018, Thomas led an innovative recycling initiative focusing on biofuels derived from cellulose acetate waste. Previous positions include Sales Analyst at Applause and Strategy Research Assistant at LiveStrategy. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Network Economics from Technische Universität Berlin and has a strong academic background, including a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Warwick.
