Helen Borland

Helen Borland has extensive experience in project management and strategic development within the transport sector. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Project Development at Transport for NSW since October 2017, Helen has previously held significant roles including Project Director and Associate Director at AECOM, as well as positions such as Alliance Project Manager for the Northern Gateway Alliance and Senior Project Manager at the New Zealand Transport Agency. With a solid engineering foundation as a Bridge Engineer at firms like AECOM and Hyder Consulting, Helen also holds a Master of Professional degree in Sustainable Development from the Forum for the Future and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Bath.
