Uchitha Weerasinghe

Uchitha Weerasinghe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management in the transportation sector. As the Director of Configuration Management and Technical Assurance at Transport for NSW since February 2020, Uchitha oversees critical systems assurance initiatives. Previously, Uchitha served as the Lead Systems Assurance Manager and held the position of Wireless Systems Manager at Sydney Trains from July 2013 to February 2020, focusing on wireless engineering within the Operational Technology team. Uchitha's earlier career included roles as Radio Design Manager and Senior Systems Engineer at RailCorp, where responsibilities encompassed the engineering design of wireless radio systems and RAMS analysis.
