Alfonso Valle

Alfonso Valle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the reinsurance industry, currently serving as Vice President and previously as Assistant Vice President at TransRe since May 2012. Alfonso leads the Casualty & Marine Treaty Team for the Latin America and Caribbean regions, overseeing underwriting and management of various treaty reinsurance business segments, including excess of loss and proportional Casualty and Marine lines. Prior roles at TransRe include Senior Underwriter and Underwriter, where Alfonso successfully underwrote a diverse and profitable portfolio in the region. Additionally, Alfonso contributes as a member of the Cargo & Loss Prevention Technical Committee for the Asociación Latinoamericana de Suscriptores Marítimos (ALSUM) since January 2014. Alfonso holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
