Tim Strickland, PE, SE has a strong background in bridge engineering, particularly in the railroad industry. Tim has worked for various companies and has extensive experience in the design and load rating of railroad bridges, including fixed and movable structures. Tim has utilized 3D structural analysis software and self-developed design spreadsheets to complete projects for Class I railroads, transit agencies, and shortlines. Tim has also been involved in significant projects such as the Huey P. Long bridge in New Orleans, where they performed quality control and quality assurance reviews of load rating calculations. Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated their expertise in structural engineering, including the design of steel, concrete, and timber structures. Tim has led project teams, performed condition surveys, and authored technical engineering reports. In addition, Tim has experience in other areas of civil engineering, such as masonry design and underwater inspections. Tim'swork experience spans from 2005 to the present, with their most recent position being Senior Rail Bridge Engineer at TranSystems.

Tim Strickland, PE, SE attended Clemson University from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures. Tim also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering with the same emphasis during their time at Clemson University.
