Kristen Hood

Kristen Hood serves as the Associate Director of Thought Leader Liaison at Travere Therapeutics since February 2023. Prior to this role, Kristen was the Executive Director of Research Engagement and Director of Clinical Outreach at NephCure Kidney International from September 2019 to February 2023. Additional experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Wayland Baptist University from August 2018 to September 2021 and working as a Registered Nurse at NEISD from August 2014 to August 2018, as well as at CHRISTUS Health from January 2005 to March 2015. Kristen Hood holds a Doctorate in Nursing Education from Bryan College of Health Sciences, a Master of Science from Wayland Baptist University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Health San Antonio, and a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University.
