Elizabeth Lawlor Holzschuh, MS, currently serves as the Director of Epidemiology for the Johnson County, KS Government since January 2015, providing data and policy recommendations to elected leaders and presenting to the Board of County Commissioners. In this role, Elizabeth has led significant initiatives, including the development of "Health Happens Here JoCo," an interactive dashboard for community health assessment. Elizabeth also has experience as an Instructor for the FBI and CDC, facilitating workshops on criminal epidemiology and cross-sector data sharing. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Advanced Epidemiologist at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, managing perinatal hepatitis B prevention efforts. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Toledo.
