Matthew Freer is an experienced professional in the biotech and biomedical research sectors, currently serving as the Business Development and Fundraising Manager at TREAT-NMD since November 2024. Freer also holds a position on the Scientific Advisory Board of FRAME, contributing strategic insights to promote alternatives to animal testing. As the Founder and CEO of Oakhouse Scientific, Freer specializes in driving sustainable growth and operational excellence for biotech organizations. Previously, Freer was a Senior Business Development Manager at Alcyomics and has held various roles in scientific development and research since completing a PhD in Tissue Engineering and Cellular Biology at Durham University. Freer's extensive background includes experience in peer review management and postdoctoral research focused on advanced tissue models.
