Christoph Butterweck

Christoph Butterweck has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Corporate Development Manager at Trianel GmbH since May 2007, focusing on business development, strategic positioning, and M&A project management. Previously, Christoph held several key roles at Trianel, including Gas Industry Manager and Managing Director, overseeing the gas business and exploring new sectors such as natural gas production. Prior experience includes positions at Nuon Deutschland GmbH, where Christoph contributed to the strategic development of the German market and regulatory affairs. Christoph also worked at Thüga AG and rhenag Rheinische Energie AG, driving sales strategies and energy concept development. Christoph holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, obtained between 1983 and 1990.
