Casey Baron

Casey Baron is an experienced film programmer and industry professional with a diverse background in film festival operations and programming. Currently serving as a programmer at Tribeca Festival since December 2022, Casey has also held the role of grant coordinator at NewFest from May 2022 to September 2022. Prior to these positions, Casey worked at Austin Film Festival for nearly six years in various capacities, including director of programming and industry relations, senior film program director, shorts programmer, and film marketing coordinator. Additionally, Casey gained experience as an executive assistant at Red Hills Entertainment from August 2014 to July 2015. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on editing, writing, and media from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from Miami Dade College.
