Kurt Bilafer

Kurt is a sales and marketing veteran with more than 25 years of experience in a variety of regional and global roles. He has been an active Angel and Advisor since 2015 with +100 investments, a LP in 4 funds focused on different stages and segments of the venture investment market and passionate about everything start-up related. Kurt is also the Fund Manager for the Seattle Angel Conference Fund 17.

Kurt is currently CMO & CRO for Banzai, previously he was the General Manager for Amazon Pay in the Americas, where he connected merchants with over 300 million active Amazon customers. Prior to his role at Amazon, Mr. Bilafer was CRO for WePay, a leading marketplace payments company, where he oversaw growth of over 300% in 2.5 years, culminating in the acquiring of WePay by JP Morgan Chase. Kurt’s prior roles include a variety of global and regional roles at SAP and PwC. Earlier in his career, he started a number of companies, including Pilot Software, which was acquired by SAP in 2007. Mr. Bilafer received a B.S. in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.
