Rose Anne Kenny

Rose Anne Kenny is a prominent academic and clinician based at Trinity College Dublin and St. James's Hospital, Dublin. Since 2006, Kenny has served as the Principal Investigator for The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA), a comprehensive study encompassing biology, psychology, sociology, and economics related to ageing, facilitating key international research collaborations. As the Chair and Head of the Department of Medical Gerontology, Kenny has led the department to achieve significant success in grant income, scholarly output, and public engagement. Additionally, as the Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine and Director of the Mercer's Institute for Successful Ageing at St. James's Hospital, Kenny has been instrumental in establishing a clinical-research institute focused on improving the outcomes of ageing in Ireland's largest teaching hospital.
