Tomasz Zak

Tomasz Zak is a skilled perfusionist currently working at Trinity Health since May 2021, with prior experience as a certified perfusionist at Cleveland Clinic from December 2017 to March 2022. Clinical expertise includes complex procedures such as ascending aortic surgeries, valve work, CABG, and heart and lung transplants. Prior to transitioning into perfusion, Tomasz worked at Westinghouse Electric Company from January 2010 to September 2016, serving as a senior licensing and regulatory affairs engineer and a senior nuclear fuels engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences from the University of Michigan and a perfusion certificate from the Cleveland Clinic School of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Additionally, Tomasz holds an Associate of Science degree in General Studies from the Community College of Allegheny County.
