Durk Valk

Durk Valk is an accomplished enterprise architect with extensive experience in banking and IT consultancy. Currently serving as an enterprise architect at Triodos Bank since January 2014, Valk develops reference architectures and participates in various banking projects. Prior to this role, Valk co-founded Get There, holding the position of managing partner and CTO, and contributed as a principal architect at RDW for the introduction of the DigiD-card. Experience includes serving as an enterprise architect during the migration of Friesland Bank's customers to Rabobank, and leading IT architecture at Friesland Bank for a comprehensive program redesigning banking operations. Earlier career roles include vice president of operations at Asset Control and technical manager at KPN Telecommerce. Valk holds an engineering degree in Electrotechnics/Informatics from the University of Twente, an MBA with honors from TSM Business School, and additional education at the University of Geneva.
