Shashi Kant Gupta

Shashi Kant Gupta is a Lead Researcher specializing in Natural Language Processing at Triomics since March 2024, focusing on leveraging Generative AI in oncology research and care. Previously, at RingCentral from July 2021 to February 2024, Shashi served as a Data Scientist, addressing speech and NLP challenges while leading multiple projects. A research assistant at Harvard Medical School from May 2019 to April 2021, Shashi developed a computational model inspired by the human visual system under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Kreiman. Earlier experience includes contributing to the design of the first humanoid robot at Humanoid IITK from December 2016 to April 2019 and interning at Singapore University of Technology and Design, where Shashi worked on optical flow algorithms for UAV positioning. Shashi holds a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, obtained in 2021.
