Ali Amiri

Ali Amiri is an accomplished consultant and self-employed professional with extensive experience in water and wastewater remediation. Notably serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Trojan Technologies, Ali invented and patented innovative processes for wastewater treatment, including a Fenton-like method for aromatic hydrocarbons and a novel low-hazard iron slurry for sulfide sequestration. As Senior Technical Director at OCETA, Ali directed project teams for arsenic removal technologies, significantly contributing to institutional capacity building in Bangladesh. Previous roles include leadership in R&D at Hdroxyl System Inc. and Solarchem/Calgon Carbon, where Ali developed advanced oxidation technologies and held multiple patents. Ali Amiri holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan and an advanced certificate in Environmental Management from the University of Toronto.
