Pankaj Chowdhury

Pankaj Chowdhury, Ph.D., P.Eng., serves as an Application Scientist and Team Lead at Trojan Technologies, where research and development focus on the direct UV photolysis of trace organic contaminants. Additionally, Pankaj is an Editorial Board Member for UV Solutions and has contributed to the IWA Programme Committee for the 2019 IYWP conference. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Scholar positions at Simon Fraser University, The University of British Columbia, University of Calgary, and University of Waterloo, where significant advancements in photocatalysis and water treatment techniques were made. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Western University, alongside multiple degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Calcutta.
