Chad Mays

Chad Mays is an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at Troy University, starting July 2023, where responsibilities include serving as the sports information director for multiple teams and managing day-to-day communication operations. Prior to this role, Chad was a Communications Student Worker at the University of Nebraska Lincoln's Athletic Department, focusing on the men's tennis team. Experience also includes positions as a Sports Clerk at Lincoln Journal Star and a Sports Fellow at Omaha World-Herald, covering various sports and creating written content. Chad's background in journalism includes reporting for The Daily Nebraskan and Morgan Hill Life. Chad holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Sports Media and Communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is pursuing a Master of Science in Strategic Communication at Troy University.
