Al-Hadji Kudra Maliro

Al-hadji Kudra Maliro is an experienced journalist currently serving as an On-Air Reporter and Host for TRT World since June 2022, providing updates on the situation in Congo, particularly regarding the conflict involving M23 rebels and the Congolese Army. Previously, Al-hadji worked as an Eastern Congo Correspondent for The Associated Press from December 2016 to January 2023, covering significant events such as the ADF rebel insurgency and the Ebola epidemic. Additionally, Al-hadji briefly worked as a Freelance Reporter for The Continent News in August 2022 and as a Freelance Photojournalist for AA from December 2014 to November 2015. Al-hadji holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the International University of East Africa, obtained in December 2015.
