Dean Hicks

Dean Hicks is an experienced financial risk professional with a strong background in credit policy and analytics. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Credit Officer for Consumer at Truist since December 2019, Dean oversees consumer portfolio performance and loss forecasting. Prior roles include Vice President of Credit Policy at SunTrust, Director of Credit Policy & Analytics at USAA, and Portfolio Risk Manager at Fannie Mae, where Dean managed risk assessment and credit strategies across various lending products. An earlier career includes quantitative analysis at Intel Corporation and engineering roles in VLSI design. Dean holds a Master’s in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA in Finance from the University of Portland, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
