Cara Hilton

Cara Hilton is an experienced policy and public affairs professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Policy & Public Affairs Manager at Trussell since March 2021, Cara previously held similar roles at CECA Scotland and has a notable history in public service as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for Dunfermline and a Councillor for Dunfermline South. Other positions include Parliamentary Assistant to Thomas Docherty MP and Researcher for Karen Whitefield MSP, alongside earlier experience at Usdaw Union. Cara holds a MA in European Union (Employment) Law from the University of Leicester, a Diploma in Child Development from The Open University, and a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Strathclyde.
