Karen Labuca is an accomplished communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in artist development and consultancy. As the Founder of The Formula since January 2022, Karen has launched a consultancy focused on innovative creatives. Karen has also played a pivotal role as Communications Advisor at Swayde, where leadership in strategies for a music e-lance startup has been instrumental in global initiatives and fundraising. Since 2016, Karen has directed communications at MBC Strategic, managing high-value campaigns for firms with $8.5 trillion in assets. Additionally, Karen has contributed to enhancing brands as a Communications Strategist at TRUST and served in various roles focused on digital marketing, social media, and project management throughout the entertainment industry. Karen co-founded NYX Arts & Ent to support emerging talent and has a background in executing campaigns for high-profile artists. Karen holds a BBA in Marketing and Professional Writing from the University of Houston-Downtown.
